The Holy Scriptures do not refer to angels as a specific race, but as a multitude. Hebrews 12:22 speaks of ‘tens of thousands of angels’. Consequently we accept that God has created every single angel directly as an act of His wisdom and power (Col. 1:16).
The Scriptures clearly state that angels do not reproduce (Matt. 22:30). Angels do not marry and they also cannot die (Luke 20:34-36). They are called ‘sons of God’ in the Old Testament (Gen. 6:2, 4; Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7;), but we never read of the sons of angels. The angels represent a different world, the heavenly world
